The Retail Innovations Festival will not take place in 2020!

The 4th annual Reatil Innovations Conference 2020 will not take place in 2020, after careful consideration of all circumstances. The decision was made by the organizing committee of the event three months before the planned September date.

According to the planned dramaturgy, unique personalities from the retail world, who would definitely dominate: Markku Hautala, head of the K-Citymarket Järvenpää supermarket from Finland (IGD World Award: “Store Of The Year 2019”) or Lars, were to present themselves again in Bratislava this year. Poulsen representing the unique pop up concept of Flying Tiger. The whole program block was extremely rich, it is all the more sad that the event will not take place.

“We expect an audience of over 200 professionals. This fact alone is not particularly critical, but we believe that it is not necessary to hold a festival at any cost. More importantly, the circumstances of Covid-19 shook the retail and brought it to a whole new reality. Traders are currently dealing with many other concerns. The right time for an inspiring conference is yet to come, “explains co-founder Tibor Tabery.

Retail Innovations Conference is a chamber one-day event dedicated to retail professionals. This year, a total of 17 experts were to focus in three blocks on real working solutions supporting the thesis: “Where is the cash?”.

“This year was created with the inseparable support of our important partners. I must mention in particular the companies COOP Jednota Slovensko, Reccom and AVgast. They deserve our great thanks. Thank you!” Adds Tibor Tabery.
